Climate Change and recycling

Climate Change and recycling
There have always been climate changes, but in recent years these changes have been accelerated by the impact of human activity. That's rapidly changing environment by human action that makes changing the composition of the atmosphere is what we call today is climate change and resulting disasters like tsunamis, earthquakes, intense storms, floods, hurricanes, etc ...
How does the recycling?
If many trees are cut, if we generate the carbon dioxide (C02) and methane (C04) which is contributing to climate change.
The waste we produce in our homes, is going to landfills as it decomposes it produces biogas. This biogas contains carbon dioxide and methane which, when released into the atmosphere produce much damage as climate change, melting Arctic glaciers, causing sea level rise, causing warming of the oceans and very adverse effects on our planet and ourselves.

Did you know that there are islands of trash in the oceans?

In the Pacific Ocean between San Francisco and Hawaii there is an island of trash larger than Texas and in the Atlantic fleet, a huge block of waste that exceeds the size of Cuba. On both islands of garbage floating plastic waste such as bottles of drink, but there are bottles of oil and other toxic.
We recycle so that no more islands full of trash polluting our marine animals and our nature.

The colors of my tentacles

My tentacles are colored circles are called suckers. Each color means a container where you can recycle a given material.
Red is for dangerous materials such as fuel cells and batteries.
Yellow means that you can recycle plastics.
Blue for paper and cardboard.
The orange or brown for all the leftovers. Organic waste.
The green glass.
The gray aluminum cans and tin cans.
Know that all countries have different colored containers for the wastes to be recycled. So it is best to read the signs of the containers, while not register or comply with the colors for recycling as universal.

What are the 3Rs?

The first R is REDUCE. We must reduce the amount of garbage we throw away. For example, potato peels or leftover vegetables can make a compost.
The second R is REUSE. We must seize the things we have not to fill our planet of garbage. Example, if you throw a piece of paper, remember that you can use the back page too. If we are to throw a glass bottle, we think we can do a lot with it, such as a lamp.
The third R is RECYCLE. Many products can have another life cycle such as glass bottles, drink cans, cardboard, paper, etc ... What remains after reduce and reuse is recycled.
